Humanity is the word we hear very often, but little did we know that the word humanity is derived from a Latin word humanitas for “human nature, kindness.” In today’s world of concrete jungle, virtual world where we all are connected by social media nothing seems to touch us, we always feel there is no humanity left. Probably we all are too busy to see through people’s pains and needs. It may be true in few cases, in every day walk of life where we have stopped showing emotions and feelings for small things as we do not have time to pause and look around. Humanity is as small thing as a smile of gratitude; it need not be every time something very big or involve monetary rewards. We may not be giving heed to small things in everyday life but at the same time when human race is hit by some adversity our heart gives out a cry and reaches out for people who are in need.
